
Oliver is an actor, singer, and multi-instrumentalist originally from Dorset. Having played saxophone, piano, and guitar for many years, Oliver sustained his passion for music throughout his time at Durham University as the musical director of his college big band. He sang with Durham Gospel Choir and fronted various Jazz and function bands as a vocalist. Having played in a number of different musical settings, Oliver has a wealth of experience across many instruments and genres.
He later graduated with a Master of Arts (Musical Theatre) and an LRAM from the Royal Academy of Music. As a singer and actor, Oliver and the Goya Theatre Company enjoyed great success at the 2022 Edinburgh Fringe Festival – taking up two shows, both of which were nominated for Best Musical at the Musical Theatre Review Awards. He also performed in both Stephen Sondheim’s Old Friends: A Celebration (Cameron Mackintosh/Sondheim Theatre) and Maria Friedman & Friends (Sonia Friedman Prods/Menier Chocolate Factory).
