Taiwanese flautist Yen-Huan (Becky) Wang has built a successful and varied career as a flautist and flute/piano teacher in the UK, combining regular recitals and chamber concerts with theatre and dance projects, collaborations with composers, and community and educational projects (including work with the Phoenix Dance Company (Leeds), Dance4 (Nottingham), Chipping Campden Festival Orchestra, and the William Bennett Summer School).
Alongside her performing, Becky is passionate about music education and enjoys a busy teaching schedule, working with young musicians around the UK. She studied flute with William Bennett, Kate Hill and Pat Morris during her Masters degree at the Royal Academy of Music, London. Becky has been selected as a Britten-Pears Young artist (2015, 2017), and performed and recorded with Marin Alsop and Oliver Knussen. Other recents highlights include performances at the Royal Festival Hall (London), and the Musikverein and Konzerthaus (Vienna).
